The basic online service provides a Music Xray™ report. (sample report)

The report contains two scores: a Hit Grade and a Color Grade. They are related. The hit grade is a score ranging on a logarithmic scale from 0 to 1000. A score of 700 or more means that your song falls within a hit cluster, i.e. has optimal mathematical patterns.

Platinum Blue assigns each song a color code to make the score more understandable. Blue (as in Platinum Blue) is the highest color code one can achieve and it denotes a song with optimal mathematical patterns. If in addition to having optimal mathematical patterns, the song also sounds and feels like a hit AND is promoted and marketed effectively, evidence indicates the song will likely be successful in the market.

Basic Music Xrays™ are just $10 per song

NEW – You can now post this icon  next to your song title on MySpace and other social networking sites (see example)

To generate the code to put your icon on your band / artist website click here.

To generate the code to put your icon on your MySpace page click here.

The icon (and special code to paste into your page) comes with your report. When users roll over it with their mouse they are offered the opportunity to see your report. When they click on it they can view your song’s report. Talent scouts LOVE this feature and will be more likely to listen to your song when they see this icon.

Disclaimer:

It is important to understand that Music Xray™ does NOT tell you if your song sounds and feels like a hit. A low score does not mean your song does not sound like a hit. It simply means that the production of the song that was tested would be seriously challenged to perform well in the market. Similarly, a good score alone does not mean the song will be a hit. It must also sound like a hit and be promoted effectively.
